Let it Snow

Well, I am finally back to the blogging world. Sorry it has been so long, but as most of you know, we have been very busy and travelling quite a bit these days with my Dad' s heart surgery and all. I want to thank you all again for all of your thoughts and prayers during this time, we are so grateful to have so many wonderful people in our lives. I am going to post some pictures from our time down there when I have a chance to really sit down and go through the 500+ photos from down there.

Anyhow, here are a few pictures of the snow we woke up to this morning. The first snow fall is always so pretty.

Santa Claus Parade

Last Sunday was the Santa Claus parade here in Toronto. It seemed like a perfect day for the parade. It was cold and snowy. I personally was frozen by the time we got back to the car to drive home, and so were the kids, but now all they talk about it wanting to go see the parade again. So, they obviously liked it enough to forget about the cold and freezing snowy part of it. There really is nothing better than seeing their faces when Santa comes and waves to them.

Nemo watching Nemo

Here is one of Kirsten's possible halloween costumes. After trying it on her, watching her shake her tail and seeing that she doesn't want to take it off, I think she will definitely wear it this year. Let me know what you think.

A visit to the Farm

Brian was off on Friday so we decided to take the kids to the farm after we picked Aidan up from school. It was pretty crowded, but it was still a good time. What could be better than a fall afternoon at the farm and we got lots of yummy apples.

There was lots to do, the kids really liked the corn maze.

Lollipops and Cousins

Gracie and Michael came over for a visit yesterday. They brought Mickey Mouse and Tigger lollipops for everyone. All four kids thoroughly enjoyed their lollipops together and then we took a trip to the park. It was a great day for the cousins to spend together. They used to see each other every day, but since we have moved and the older kids are in school now it is harder to get together.

Just an update, Aidan is doing much better at school. Now I just drop him at the door and he walks in with a smile. This month he even got an award. Each month the teachers choose two students in their class who exemplify a positive attitude toward their peers and teachers.
Because of his special award, he got to pick anything for dinner last night. He requested spaghetti, garlic bread and we made a big Peanut Butter Cookie cake to celebrate. We love you so much and we are so proud of you Aidan!!!! GOOD JOB Buddy!!

Trip to the Fair

Today we went took the kids to the Markham Fair. It took forever to get into the parking lot, but once we got in it was worth the wait. The kids had a great time. There were lots of animals to see, lots of food, horse racing, tractor pulls and lots of rides.....pony rides, camel rides and even elephant rides. Aidan and Kirsten were content just to ride the ponies, the elephant was a little intimidating.
