A simple but fun day

Brian had the day off on Friday and we decided we would go to the zoo with the kids in the morning. When we got to the zoo it was absolutely mobbed so we decided to go down to the lake and let the kids throw rocks into the water. The water isn't clean enough to swim in, but the kids enjoyed the day there anyway.

Everytime somebody threw a rock into the water, Kirsten cheered and clapped for them.


It was such a beautiful day. The weather was perfect.

Aidan's favorite part of the day.... Brian was pretending to throw him into the water.

Pool Party

We went to Grace's 4th B-Day party on Saturday.

Here is Kirsten's "Before and After" she decided to take out one of her ponies


Swimming. At first Aidan was very hesitant to go into the water. But once he got in, he just wanted to jump in from the side, over and over again. Kirsten loved the water. She called her water wings penguins.



After swimming Brian's Dad put on a puppet show for all of the kids.

Kirsten isn't much of a fan of sprinklers, but Aidan LOVES them......

This next picture was pretty funny. The water came on just as Aidan was walking by. It suprised him just a little bit.

Here are a few pictures from our park day yesterday.


There was a splash pad for the kids to run through and cool off. Aidan loves to run through the water, but Kirsten prefers to stand on the side and watch.

Here is the most that Kirsten would do with the water. She is NOT a big fan of getting sprayed.
