I just LOVE sleeping babies!!! I know Kirsten isn't really a baby anymore, but I still love to watch her sleep. There is just something about those little features on such a sweet, perfect face when they are resting and so peaceful. Here is a picture I took just a few minutes ago after Kirsten fell asleep.

Soccer Anyone?

Kirsten started soccer last weekend. We go every Saturday through the summer. It is pretty cute watching all of the 2-3 year old kids running around, not really knowing what they are supposed to do. I think the cutest part is just seeing them in the "uniforms". Kirsten is playing with her cousin Shealynn. She enjoys playing for the first 15 mins or so and then just wants to run around and dance and pick flowers. Aidan just missed the cut off so he and Brian go off to the side and play soccer together. He has really enjoyed that.

After soccer we went to my sister-in-law's B-day party. Here are just a few pictures from that.

We Bought Our First House!!!!

We had a very exciting weekend. We bought our first house. Here are a few pictures. Aidan and Kirsten loved the house. The family that sold it had a little boy and a little girl, so they already knew which room would be theirs. I was going to change Kirsten's room, but she loved the Winnie the Pooh. So, I may leave it for a little while. We love the entire house, but especially the backyard and deck. Let us know what you think!!!
By the way, this means that anyone travelling up north will always have a place to stay now. The closing date is set for August 22. So, anytime after that, we would love to have visitors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went to the zoo today and Aidan wanted to bring his camera and take pictures. It was a VERY hot day so we decided to ride on the zoomobile. It was hard for him to get alot of pics of the animals when the train was moving. So, here are a few pictures from the eyes of "Aidan"

A cold day at the beach

We went down to the beach this past Friday for my father-in-laws' b-day. He adores the kids, and they adore him, mainly because he is just a big kid himself. It was supposed to be a perfect day with sunshine and temps in the mid 70's. But that didn't happen. It was cloudy, rainy, and COOOOOOLD (we're talking 50's). Here are a few pics from the day.

The best part of the day was definitely flying the kites. It was so windy that the kites wouldn't come down, even if you tried to pull them down.

We actually thought the wind was going to pull Kirsten up into the sky with the kite, I think she thought the same thing and decided to sit down and brace herself.Everyone giving big birthday hugs

Thank goodness we had the tent, it was the only place to help the kids warm up a little.
