Painting

It is a very rainy, messy day outside today so Aidan decided he would like to paint. He painted a picture for Brian and wanted to take it to him at work, so instead I took a picture and sent it to him. So, I figured I would take a picture of all of his paintings today. We have been working on teaching Aidan to write his name. He hasn't quite gotten it down, in fact, his A's have been looking like H's. But today while he was painting he was very excited when he made an A, and once he figured it out, he made a lot of A's. Anyhow, here are a few of his pictures from today. Hope you enjoy.

Happy Easter, Happy Spring

Even though we still have snow on the ground outside, a sure sign that spring is right around the corner (hopefully), is Easter! Here are pictures from Easter morning. I didn't get any of their egg hunt, because I was too busy being in the moment with them. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!!

With their cousins for egg hunt #2
They love eachother so much
One of my favorite shots of the day, it makes me feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family!!!
During the hunt, very serious about finding those eggs.Kirsten loves her books.

Easter Egg Decorating

I know this is late....but better late than never, right? Here are a few photos of the kids decorating their Easter Eggs. We painted their faces to look like bunnies before we did the eggs. Aidan hard at work.

Here is the only egg Kirsten decorated. She wasn't all that interested in the whole process.

Grammy's 80th B-Day

We don't get to see my grandparents very often so it was so wonderful to spend time with them and for Aidan and Kirsten to see them. Brian was very disappointed that he couldn't be there with us. I love them so much and miss seeing them. It is very hard to be so far away from my entire family. We have such a large family on my Dad's side (he is one of 12 kids) and we rarely get to see everyone. I am so happy that we were able to see so much of our family and be there for my Grandmother's 80th B-Day. Happy B-Day again Grandma!!! We love you and miss you terribly!

Backyardigans

We went to see the Backyardigans this past weekend. It was pretty good. Aidan was very sad when it was over. He wanted them to come back out and sing some more. Both Aidan and Kirsten love to sing along to the music. We have a few of their CD's so they knew most of the songs. Brian was out of town, so it was just me and the kids (and their cousins, of course). We had 3 seats and only used one. They both sat on my lap the entire show.
